About six years ago I was emailed and phoned by a neo pro in the area. He was one of t he regulars in Nova at the time and very involved with christian SF. Needless to say, I was not pleased. Perhaps this applies to the magazine as well? As for Mikkake's post at SL, it amazed me how quickly it turned into a debate about pizza. I rather like St. Louis style pizza, but it just seems wrong to cut it into squares, rather than wedges. I'll have to go with thin, crispy crust, topped with any combination of pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. I recall a place on 2nd Ave., around 53rd or 54th that served what they called a "smog." Despite being topped with the works, and requiring a knife and fork to eat, the crust was still thin and crispy. Co-workers in business suits lined up down the block around lunchtime, chatting with each other, while they waited for a table. There was no take-out. I wonder if it's still there.
