Lowe You

November 5, 2008 by Rusty

For the most part, I’ve been leaving Kristy Tallman alone.  Since the demise of her organization to overthrow the publishing industry, she’s been keeping a pretty low profile, doing nothing more than posting an occasional poem.  This, however, is too funny to bypass.  She posted a poem titled “Love You.”  What makes it funny is that she titled the post “Lowe You.”  It’s a pretty odd typo, considering that the W and V keys are nowhere near each other.

For some reason, I still get weekly updates when she posts on MySpace, but can’t access them as they’re set to “friends only.” And since I’m as inept as she when it comes to computers, I can’t figure out how to STOP getting the updates.

Is that it? Just the title and the one line? yeesh, I seriously hope she is okay. Whether we had words in the past or not, I have to admit, I worry about her metal state. Seriously, let go of the anger, Kris, and concentrate on you.

Oh cripes — ‘mental state’ I guess I have metal on the brain, as usual. ;)

There was more than the one line, but you know how she gets when people “steal” her content. She’s called “the female Pacione” for a reason. ;)

    True enough! LOL ;)

Louise, don’t go near anything sharp if you’re on a ‘metal’ state… :P

LOL, sorry… That makes no sense at all, but it sure as hell sounds funny! :D

Heh. I’ve been wondering what Ol’ Krusty was up to lately :)

Maybe the title is some weirdass country-westerny lyrics inspired statement on how Love Brought Her Low.

Or a metal plate in her head.

Maybe that’s what Louise picked up on…

You guys really ought to get a life – I’ve left you alone – maybe you should try and do the same. Grow up and back off okay. I’ve done nothing to you or said nothing about you for you to continue to bash me over a typo. You won I hardly post anything anymore so when I do – do you think you could possibly just leave me alone? I didn’t ask you to like my work or to critique every word I write and there are plenty of other authors you can treat like shit and pretend they aren’t human with real life emotions and feelings so really shoo – go play with someone else’s life. I mean seriously do you not have anything better to do with your lives than to wait on a google alert with my name on it?? Get real and stop using the internet to try and ruin other people’s lives just because you can’t stand your own. Life is too short to be so vindictive towards people you have no clue about. I ask you one last time to just leave me the hell alone okay?? Think that would be too much ask?? I’m sure it is and a ton more of your bashing will ensue but that would only show the true nature of your characters as being the scum of the earth type of folks. Have a great day even if sadly that involves you guys bashing and slandering people without end.

You know, you could have just not said anything, and this entry would have drifted off into bit oblivion.

Here, Read this essay and think about it. Just remember that when you post something online, it’s in the public eye and people are going to gab about it.

By the way, slander is spoken. In print it’s libel.

Or, alternately, you could skip your regularly scheduled ego-googling. Then you wouldn’t even know what, if anything, people say about you.

  11. on November 6, 2008 at 4:38 pm Rusty

What Google alert? Don’t flatter yourself that I bothered to set one up for you, honey.

Get real and stop using the internet to try and ruin other people’s lives . . .

Ooh. Pacione’s going to sue you for copyright infringement for stealing his line. Tsk, tsk.

Uh… Calling a typo ‘funny’ and bashing are two completely different things.

The easiest thing to do is let it go… Just let it go… That way, you won’t have more unnecessary attention drawn to yourself. : )

I didn’t ask you to like my work or to critique every word I write and there are plenty of other authors you can treat like shit and pretend they aren’t human with real life emotions and feelings so really shoo – go play with someone else’s life.

Uh… which ‘authors’ are you referring to? Pacione, who calls people ‘faggots’ and tells them to ‘die’ or gives them deaththreats? Dagstine, who sticks his nose into other people’s business when people aren’t even talking to him, then making up complete bullshit to try and save his writing buddies? Or Philbin, who goes around bashing writers who are better than him, then, when someone proves him wrong, calls them ‘little doggies’ for offering POLITE, CONSTRUCTIVE feedback.

Saying that the people here treat others like shit is an understatement. The reason these people are being blogged about in the first place is because they are treating OTHERS like shit. You probably would’ve NEVER been mentioned here if you hadn’t personally attacked people, Kristy. Your own actions have brought your name here, not the actions of others.
