Fourth Submission Call

April 30, 2008 by Rusty

Pacione put out a fourth submission call, on his LJ gothic community, for Issue 7 of his Ethereal Gazette. It would seem that Chicagoland has been sufficiently warned about him.

I did this video for those who are wanting in detail what I want for issue number seven. And seems like now I am deemed a public figure being a publisher, but I will also put on fair game that the person who said that is also a public figure too if I go blasting on him.

Therefore, anyone Pacione decided to lambaste is considered a “public figure.” Um, no, Peaches. That won’t hold up in court.

I am looking for submissions for an anthology that I am looking to make available at different events down the line and if you write horror or literary fiction with dark slants. I will give details on what I want, and I will not accept any slash fiction of any kind or any kind of erotic fiction. This anthology will be done inside this year but looking to put it out by years end.

He put out his first submission call for this issue back in February, I think, so his lovely magazine may die with issue 6. Seems fitting for a “magazine” thrown together by a guy who thinks editing consists of reformatting with funky, unreadable fonts, printed by Lulu.

If you have something you want me to throw up of yours here let me know if it is a story under 3300 words — it will be featured here too but all comments will be blocked with your youtube channel or other website you have outside of livejournal so readers can interact with you.

LOL WUT, as they say in LJ-Land.

Funny thing is, he hasn’t bothered me except for once on his blogspot. And by LJ’s definition I’d be a public figure as well (that’s a scary thought) because I have been published (and I’m gonna do it again!).

Given that his criteria are ridiculously narrow, his ‘vlogs’ are incomprehensible, and he only advertises on communities where no one ever comments, I wonder how many submissions he is expecting to recieve.

But then again, this is the guy who wrote the cyberpunk story that was entirely free of both cyber and punk…LOL WUT, indeed.

LMAO Alice, you hit the nail on the head with that one.

I hope enough of us have posted behind him at deviantART and other places, and have made people think twice about submitting anything to him. I guess there’s always the new and young coming onto the ‘net. *shakes head*

When you called him ‘peaches’, I almost spewed my coffee. LOL :D

Oh, he picked up that “nick” name a long time ago……

The first one to use it was Natalie. She did a guest piece on my previous xanga blog.

Louise piss off. Is that the way to talk about one of your published authors? You inherited the original line up of the magazines when you did the hostile takeover.

What hostile takeover, Ablert? But then again you never were one to let facts get in the way of a lie.

Ablert, your lack of ability to understand facts is matched only by your inability to understand the basics of English.
