Never one to miss an opportunity to pimp his stories, Mr. Pacione got right on it when the other moderator at LJ’s Gothic community posted a link to Horrormasters.

Naturally, there are no replies beyond Pacione’s. What he doesn’t mention is that Library of Bones is available for free download. Lake Fossil II and Halloween on Camera aren’t free, but cost a whopping 40 cents each.
Horrormasters has been around for years, but it seems Topi (the co-mod) only recently found it. I’m tempted to download and review Library of Bones. It might be interesting to see how long it takes Mr. Pacione to blow a gasket, and post a new screed about how I’m stealing his sales, taking food off his table, not letting him gain legitimate readers, etc.

it is five pages long and I got it. It is just empty words with lots of tense shifts and grammar errors.
My god. This one’s even worse than Insect (if that’s possible). It’s as if he’s parroting words from a foreign language that he thinks sound really cool, but are utterly nonsensical when put together.
Forget reviewing it. This one’s practically begging to be parodied.
“In the shadows of the flame of the unspeakable horrors of the mind that would scream words that will be written many years ago, it began to snow.”
LOL
Anyone wondering about Pacione’s chances of making it in this busines should look no further than that sentence. The fact that he wrote it and sees nothing wrong with it tell a person all they need to know.
How can someone scream something that will be written many years ago?
To be fair, Shadow, I wrote that sentence myself as an example of how I might parody that particular story. It’s not a Pacione quotation.
There are many, many things wrong with that sentence, but that’s the point. If I left you scratching your head, then I’m on the right track.
Yeah, I swear I thought it was Pacione. You hit it out of the park. Nailed his ignorance of verb tenses and hung a completely disconnected thought at the end of it. Good job.
I’m impressed. I thought it was one of his also.
